Our Project Development methodology is evolved to
suit the requirements of project. The Lifecycle of
the project is traced based on the methodology
chosen. A brief, providing the salient features of
the methodology is presented below.
Project Plan and Tracking
the schedule: Project plan for the total
life cycle, from start to the finish is drawn up. A
schedule of project development in terms of
tasks/module would be submitted and the same is
tracked using the Microsoft Project Plan. Any
deviations from the process can be detected. There
would be Weekly review about the proceeds of the
project and the Bi-weekly status report.
Resource Planning /
Allocation: The resources for the project
are defined and allocated at the Project Planning
stage. The roles of each resource will be fixed and
access level given to individual members.
Version Management:
The version control of the documents would be
through Microsoft Visual Source safe. All naming
conventions for the Coding will be defined as per
the project methodology stage and the document would
be given to the Project Manager periodically.
Audit Tracking and
Management: Audits would be conducted on
projects at schedule stages and the data collected
will be fed. This includes Bugs classification and
the Number of Bugs at each developmental stage. This
would help us to track the kind of bugs occurring
and enabling necessary action.
Issue resolution
Integration: Issues in any stage of the
project or the task will be tracked. Every issue of
a stage would be resolved to proceed to the next
stage. Delay in issue and resolution will also be
tracked.
Time Sheet Entries:
The Time sheet of all resources will be generated
automatically and can also be filled manually. The
exact time taken for each task (program) can be
calculated.
Review Meetings:
Project review meetings would be scheduled every
fortnight or at appropriate intervals as planned
during the project. A summary of the Module level
meetings and actions initiated for several
challenges arising during the developmental stage
would be discussed. The Bugs arising are discussed
and suitable actions are suggested to the respective
developers. The minutes of the meeting and action
points would be documented and would be posted.
